If you've got a broken SNES game laying around, why not turn the cartridge into a wallet, complete with LEDs and ID holder? Look no further than this nifty project. Instruction page. Click here for first picture in gallery.
Oh, and it's got an LED that can be powered on and off, plus it plays game music / noises! Crazy, right? Ask yourself this: what better way is there to spend New Year's Day?

Kissing Octopus Flash Drive’s Bizarre Mating Ritual Captured on Film

December 30, 2008 by · Leave a Comment

Behold the rare Octopus USB drive mating ritual. Notice how the magnetized lips join together in a passionate kiss. Unfortunately, like the praying mantis, the female is prone to violence after mating.

In the background you can see that the female has ripped the face off the male and stuck his lifeless corpse up on the fridge with a phony suicide note. Tragic I know—but it's nature and we mustn't interfere. Available in 2, 4 and 8GB capacities. [A-DATA]

Ten-key enthusiasts, prepare for Brando to rock… your… world. For $37, you can get a wireless (wireless!!!) numeric keypad, effectively allowing you to ten-key on uneven terrain, underground, or from over thirty feet away from your computer — like while skydiving, for instance, except your computer is skydiving near you but far enough away that hooking up a USB-connected number pad would be way too dangerous. Extreme!
<
That’s it, what a rush.
<
No, wait! There’s more! It’s also got a built-in trackball (called a "Tracking Ball" by Brando) plus left and right mouse buttons. Whoa. Mind? Blown.
<
Well that’s quite an impressive feature list for $37 and it should keep you busy for quite some–OH MY GOD, music buttons too?!! Extremer! And shortcut buttons! And a zoom button!
<
19 keys + 13 hotkeys = too many total keys to count. Head? Explodes!

These new USB drives are very fun and great for tweens and kids for school. This is also one storage device that will have lots of personality and certainly get alot of attention. benqjoybook10

Laptop Magazine got their hands on BenQ’s offering to the netbook corral, the JoyBook, and found it to be pretty standard 10-inch fare with a few twists: 160GB hard drive, Windows XP, 1.5GB of RAM instead of 1GB, and apparently a full version of Office 2003.

The keyboard is a bit disappointing, as it doesn’t stretch all the way across the width of the device and opts for a tiny Read more
