Call of Duty 7 Black Ops

Call of Duty 7 has allegedly been exposed as Call of Duty: Black Ops. This has been declared by a MYSTERIOUS SOURCE from Activision that recently spilled the beans. According to this MYSTERIOUS SOURCE, Treyarch’s upcoming game will take place not only in Vietnam, but at various points throughout history, providing a narrative that spans many times and places.

World War II, the Cold War, Cuba, South America and the famous Iranian embassy siege in London are all rumored to be included in Black Ops.

Even more intriguing is the rumor that this game will bring back dedicated servers are a notoriously unpopular discharge from Modern Warfare 2. Treyarch is also said to be resurrecting World At War’s popular zombie mode, because zombies make everything more fun, apparently.

Frankly, this all sounds a bit mental to us, but we felt we’d pass along what everybody’s rambling about so you can make your own mind up. An interesting concept if it’s true, but I’d take more than a grain of salt with this rumor right now. Maybe pick up the whole shaker.

Verizon Iphone release date

Apple iPhone 4g Release Date 2010 and iPhone 4.0 Details. Everyone loves the technology behemoth Apple. Every time they have a new innovation the world is receptive and ready to snatch it up as fast as the company can make them. The iPad is the newest innovation, but there’s something that excites some Apple aficionados even more – the iPhone 4g using iPhone OS 4.0.

Of course, we all know that the iPhone is currently only available on AT&T. The 3G network needs some upgrades if the company is to offer 4G any time soon. 4G LTE speeds could be available in 2011, but Sprint and Verizon are said to have a leg-up with their networks – but that won’t stop Apple from offering handsets capable of the 4G speeds.

The 4.0 OS is also something that excites many. Some are hoping that the new OS will allow them to run more than one app at a time -something that the Google Android OS allows you to do and one of the major complaints of the Apple handset.

The rumors for the iPhone 4G release date is sometime this summer. Some are pointing to the handset being available as early as June 2010. Apple needs to act swiftly so that the most tech savvy customers aren’t lured away by the Google Nexus One and other smartphone handsets.

We predict that the advent of other companies handsets won’t have a huge effect on the iPhone. The customer base remains loyal.

Splinter Cell Conviction Demo

Well its here and with a title like Splinter Cell, conspiracy theories can be a fickle mistress seeing as the title has gone through a complete reworking from its previous fall 2007 release date. What you really need to know is this though: Fisher is back! Sure he has had his George Clooney makeover to hide him from the feds and hangs out with Kiefer Sutherland’s alter ego Jack Bauer sharing tips and hints over a few drinks while talking about their respective daughters.

So how does it effect gameplay I hear you cry? Well it runs off the Unreal Engine borrowing a bit from the chest high walls tool kit at the beginning and making pretty decent use of the tools placing them in nice spots. The core mechanics are there with a pocket full of gadgets and a semi-silenced pistol. It seems while the gun doesn’t appear to be silenced, it certainly acts like it. AI on the other hand is a lot nicer; not perfect, but nicer.

For example the enemies react to ricochet noise from your bullet but don’t know where you are. They tend to follow the priority of allied merc being killed and say while only one can see it [dead body] with say three AI enemies in the adjacent room, the AI will be alerted enough to a body but only the one who first found it will wander out to investigate. It’s definitely enjoyable and exploitable this new level of AI. While only three runs deep I have yet to experience any of the fabled sneaking backlog, where sneaking past a set of enemies and then triggering an alarm will cause them to all come running; however this seems to be a bit of a defeatist issue.

The level itself consists of two and a half floors. One is ground level with a factory you need to navigate and is realistic in size and not overly complicated. This is followed by an underground tunnel area where you navigate two rooms of enemies and a tier leveled room before the end of the demo. It’s a shame they didn’t include a single multiplayer map to tide the die hard fans of the series over until launch. Sadly it seems replaying the previous trilogy and Double Agent will have to suffice.

Woot.com has the Casio Exilim 10mp Digital Camera for $69.

The 10-megapixel Casio Exilim EX-S5 offers a new body design, customizable focusing frames and wide-screen video recording, which makes high-quality photographic functionality simpler to use than ever before. A new, high-speed image processing engine even allows moving subjects to be cut and pasted onto still backgrounds or other images.

Casio Exilim EX-S5 Highlights

Newly-developed Exilim Engine 4.0
Representing a significant upgrade from the Exilim Engine 3.0, the Exilim Engine 4.0 is a powerful electronic package comprised of an ordinary CPU and a high-speed dedicated image processing CPU. It delivers outstanding color reproduction and a rich tonal range that guarantees superior visual expression. Noise reduction at high-sensitivity levels also helps to produce high-quality, beautiful images. Even better, despite the new image combination functionality and other functions that entail complex processing, energy consumption is about 30 percent lower than before, which means longer battery life. The new engine successfully combines the pursuit of radical new functionality with improvements to many conventional camera features.

Dynamic Photo function
Thanks to the high-speed image processing capability of the new engine, a moving subject can be cut out of a number of images that have been shot and combined with a different still shot that forms the background. A unique digital camera image where only the main subject in the photo is moving can be created using just the camera, with no editing on a computer.

Tracking AF
Using the image analysis technology in the new engine, the ability of the auto focus function to automatically follow a moving subject has been refined. In addition to improvements to the accuracy of auto focus tracking, when a subject leaves the frame the camera makes a record of it, and when the same subject once again enters the frame it is recognized by the camera, and auto focusing is resumed.

Makeup function
In addition to recognizing faces and adjusting focus and exposure accordingly, the S5 can make adjustments to smooth skin in images and soften facial shadows caused by sunlight, creating beautiful photographs of people’s faces. The photographer can choose from one of twelve levels of skin beauty using different strengths of image processing, and can shoot after viewing the results in the LCD monitor.

HD Movie function
Just by pressing the dedicated movie button, the S5 will record beautiful HD movies at a size of 1280×720 pixels.
